On 31 October 2010 Ambassador of Ukraine to Libya Mykola Nahornyi met with Chairman of Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Muhammad El Fazzani.

The parties discussed the current state of trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Libya as well as ways of its further strengthening. They also exchanged views on the need to take additional measures in order to help increase the volume of bilateral exchange of goods.

In this context the head of Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Tripoli stressed upon the expediency of intensification of cooperation between Ukrainian and Libyan chambers of commerce and industry in the framework of the previously signed bilateral documents, particularly through the exchange of visits between delegations from the corresponding sectors.
