Educational activity of higher educational establishments of Ukraineconcerning the studies of foreigners comes true exceptionally in accordance with the licenses of the Ministry of Education, Science Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

Types of educational activity:

1. Preparation to entering into higher educational establishments of Ukraine (Preparatory Department)

Term of studies - 10 months.

In the program of preparatory department enters:

-study of the Russian or Ukrainian language;

- deep study of high school base disciplines.

 

2. Preparation on the next educationally-qualifying levels:

-"Bachelor"

- "Specialist"

- "Master's Degree"

- "PhD"

Foreigners are set off to higher educational establishments on interview results and on the basis of a contract. Language of studies: Russian, Ukrainian or English (according to the choice of student). A place in a dormitory is given for selected persons. Founding for registration of entrance visa toUkrainewith the aim of studies here is the Invitation of the Ministry of Education, Science Youth and Sports of Ukraine which is given out by the higher educational establishment, where a foreign citizen plans to study.

 

HOW TO GET AN INVITATION ON STUDIES AND A VISA FOR AN ENTRANCE TO UKRAINE?

Invitation of the Ministry of Education, Science Youth and Sports of Ukraine is given out by the higher educational establishment.

For getting of invitation a foreign citizen must send to the chosen higher educational establishment (by mail, fax or e - mail) next documents:

 

-   filled questionnaire;

-   copy of all pages of passport;

-    copy of a document about education (translated into the Ukrainian or Russian language) with the got estimations (by points) and information about the system of evaluation of knowledge, in obedience to which the proposed estimations in a document.

 

For getting an entrance visa it is necessary to appeal to the Consular Representative Office ofUkrainein the country with a corresponding statement and to put in the next documents:

 

- passport;

-original of invitation for studies;

-document about education with estimations from educational disciplines (an original and notarized translating into the Ukrainian or Russian language);

- birth certificate (an original and notarized translating into the Ukrainian or Russian language);

- document about absence of HIV infection (an original and notarized translating into the Ukrainian or Russian language);

- medical certificate about the state of health, witnessed by the official organ of health protection of foreigner’s country given out not later than two months prior to departure on studies to Ukraine (an original and notarized translating into the Ukrainian or Russian language);

- round-trip ticket with the open date of return to motherland with the term of action not less than one year.

 

All the above mentioned documents must be witnessed in accordance with the point 6 of the Act of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 1998, August, 05th, #1238.

 

 Foreigners that got a visa to Ukrainemust let the educational establishment (that gave out the invitation to them) know about the arrival date and the number flight of an airplane for providing their meeting in an airport.

 

Documents necessary for putting on studies to a higher educational establishment :

 - passport with a visa for an entrance and studies inUkraine;

- document about education with estimations from educational disciplines (an original and notarized translating into the Ukrainian or Russian language);

- birth certificate (an original and notarized translating into the Ukrainian or Russian language);

- document about absence of HIV infection (an original and notarized translating into the Ukrainian or Russian language);

- medical certificate about the state of health, witnessed by the official organ of health protection of foreigner’s country given out not later than two months prior to departure on studies to Ukraine (an original and notarized translating into the Ukrainian or Russian language);

- round-trip ticket with the open date of return to motherland with the term of action not less than one year.

- insurance policy from the grant of urgent medicare (except foreigners, that arrived from countries with which an agreement about the free grant of urgent medicare is made);

- 8 photos (4×6 cm);
