On August 9, 2010 Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine to Libya Mr. Serhii Morozov met with the Secretary of General People's Committee for Public Security (Minister of Internal Affairs) of Libya Mr. A.Al-Obeidi.

The current state and prospects of joint co-operation in the spheres of mutual interest were under discussion. The parties also exchanged thoughts on the ways of the development of security cooperation between Ukraine and Libya.
