On September 29, 2010 Ambassador of Ukraine to Libya Mr. Mykola Nahornyi held meeting with Chairman of Libyan Businessmen Council Mr. Mohammad Baayou.

During the conversation current Ukrainian-Libyan trade-economic and investment cooperation were discussed, as well as ways of its further strengthening and stirring up the contacts between the representatives of Ukrainian and Libyan business.

Parties agreed on the necessity of bilateral interaction enhancement using the potential of Ukrainian-Libyan Business Council and by means of the agreements signed with Ukrainian Union of Manufacturers and Business Owners and Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Mr. Mohammad Baayou invited Ukrainian businessmen to participate in the EU-Africa Business-Forum, scheduled for the end of November 2010 in Tripoli.
