On June 29, 2010 in the framework of the 14-th Anniversary of the Entry into Force of the Ukrainian Constitution the grand rally was held at Embassy of Ukraine to Libya participated by functionaries of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Tripoli and their families, as well as Ukrainian community in Libyan Jamahiriya.

During the rally in the presence of its participants Ukrainian Charge d’Affaires to Libya Mr. Serhii Morozov related to the main events concerned the adoption on June 28, 1996 by the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine the Basic Law of the Ukrainian state. He also read the Address to the Ukrainian Nation by the President of Ukraine Mr. Viktor Yanukovych on the occasion of the Constitution Day.

The participants of the event also had the possibility to attend the Ukrainian St. Andrew’s Orthodox Church, where they could pray and light the candle in order to commemorate the fighters, who fell in the struggle for Ukraine’s Independence.
