April 7, 2011. Head of Mission of Ukraine to NATO, Ambassador I.Dolhov on invitation of NATO Secretary General A.F.Rasmussen took part in the meeting of North Atlantic Council with non-NATO contributors to operation in Libya.

Speaking at the meeting, the Head of Mission of Ukraine to NATO informed about the successful humanitarian mission of Ukraine concerning the evacuation of Ukrainian citizens and foreign nationals from Libya and express the sincere gratitude to the NATO structures for their support and practical assistance to the large amphibious landing ship  «Kostiantyn Olshansky»  in this endeavor.

Thе meeting has become an example of practical dialogue with allies and partners who contribute to NATO operations  «Unified Protector»  on implementation of UN SC Resolutions 1970 and 1973 to protect civilians.
