Here is another marvellous #UkraineEdu project story - Anis Ettaieb from Tunisia recalls his studies at the Lviv Medical University. His parents studied and met each other in Ukraine. Here, in Ukraine, he could make his dream come true; as well as becoming a doctor, he performed on stage. Anis participated in the national TV talent show Holos Krayiny (The Voice of the Country) and now is a celebrity.
Lviv Medical University’s history dates back to 1661 and now comprises of75 departments.
Annually, the university is attended by over 18,000 people, including 6,000 students, 1,319 interns and over 10,000 postgraduates. Today, the university teaches three doctoral students; 65 graduate students (including three foreigners); 39 Masters; 62 resident physicians (including 22 foreigners) and 410 students of medicine.
