Prospects for development of bilateral cooperation in the field of consular affairs were discussed. Ambassador Nahorny and Director-General Nawwara affirmed their interest in promoting further contacts between consular departments of the ministries of foreign affairs of Ukraine and Libya, in particular by way of regular political consultations on the issues of mutual interest.

Special attention was paid to protection of interests of Ukrainian citizens working in Libya as well as to the issue of Ukrainians detained in Libya.
